I received this Chef Rimer Instant Read Thermometer free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I love how quick it reads the temperature as soon I turned it on it was reading the temp of the air outside. The needle of the Thermometer is almost 6 inches in length which is awesome because I can get it to the center of my big roast. Here at our home we use the Fahrenheit setting but I love that it also measures in Celsius. Another great option is the automatic shutdown that activates at 15 minute to help with saving the power. I used this at the same time as our old thermometer and I was really pleased with how quickly it read the temp of the meat compared to our other thermometer. On of the big down sides I have found to the Chef Rimer #MeatThermometer is that it does not tell me the temp that the meat should be when done it only reads the temp of the meat it's self. Were as with my other thermometer I tell it I want to cook beef well done, or chicken, lamb whatever them meat maybe and it has the tempter right the that the meat should cook to to be done in the middle. This does not affect the way the Chef Rimer works but it is a added feature I miss.
