It's Summer time and I have 6 kids!!! And for those of you that don't know what it's like to have 6 kids well then just let me give you just a short inside view.
I walk up to hungry kids who have to eat right now or they will die, bed changes for anyone who has had an accident over night, diaper changes, pick up the crazy mess..... (and this really doesn't do any good with 6 kids under 14 they just turn around and make it a bigger mess!!) We have so small down time before it's time to wash the 5 loads of laundry from they day before... why are there 5 loads... I really don't know. And then the kids are starving again :( So we find snacks and I send the kids out side to play... Haha more like so they can battle each other. Of our 6 kids 5 of them are boys! and in the 2 months I have been in the emergency room/ Ready Care at least 5 times and those do not include all the many band-aids and medical tape we've used at home.
We have lunch and more cleaning and usually with in 30 minus or so the kids think it's time for a snack again. In our house we try to keep the kids way from all the extra sugars and garbage in soda's and candies so most of our snacks consist of crackers with peanut butter and sometimes cheese, or carrots and ranch, apples, bananas, homemade banana ice cream. But every now and then this momma need some Chocolate!
So the other day I saw this Banana Nutella Shushi video on Facebook and while in the store tonight I decided to buy the supplies to make these tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes!
And the day just goes on from there. But believe it or not I love it and don't think I would change a thing!

Making money as a say at home Mom!

When I was younger (before starting to have kids) I never imagined I'd be a Stay at Home Mom. After I found out I was pregnant with my first child over 8 years ago my husband and I sat down and weighed out our options. He had two kids that he had custody of 100% off the time and we where going to be adding a 3rd to the mix. At that time we figured it was going to be cheaper for me to stay at home with the kids. So I put in my 2 weeks notice and a way we went. I've done several side jobs through the years. Stage hand work right along side my husband at several concerts, plays, and different performances. I have hand cut and made t-shirt rugs to sell them online. I love to crochet and make hats, blankets and booties. I've sold Slumber Parties, Tupperware, and Jamberry nail wraps. And for the past couple years I have been selling vinyl from home! It was fun to start with my husbands family has discussed starting a vinyl business and running it together. So we were pulling together ideas but... that didn't happen. So I let them do their thing and I bought my machine and started selling it to pay off my machine and then it just became fun! Because I was able to help create what people saw in their heads and wanted and I was getting paid alittle to do it. My sister inlaw started selling on several different deal sites and I though why not. I've only ran about 10 deals so far but they have been fun! I'm helping people get what they want in vinyl for a great price!
You can check out my current deal on Eleventh Avenue at https://www.eleventhavenue.com/deal/68605/back-to-school-vinyl This amazing deal will only be running until July 28th.

Just a Small tip of our Crazy summer!

Our life has been crazy busy, but who's isn't right! I always feel like if we can just make it through the school year to the summer we'll get to relax alittle.... So not true!!! We are just as busy in the summer as we are during the school year if not busier.
Our oldest will be in high school next year and has joined the marching band. The summer started with a marching band camp to prepare them for the up coming 4th of July parade. Her marching band was the first in the line up because the band had placed first last year. They will also be 1st again next year because in the prejudging they placed first again! Jonathan and I are so proud of her and her dedication to preforming in the band.  We live over a mile from where they practice and 90% of the time she bikes to practice. So not only is she getting the work out for marching but also from pedaling there,
She has not had a week this summer that she hasn't had a camp, parade or rehearsal this summer. She is loving it!! She just finished a week a the University marching band camp and she loved it!
She has one more Marching band camp, a week of girls camp and then a week visiting family in Arizona and then back to school!

I/ We ;) (because my husband supports me in anyway he can! Even if that means chasing crazy chickens around!!) decided to raising meat chicken this summer. We bought 20 thinking we could just rotate them and when these where big enough to start killing we would buy more. But the local feed store was running a promotion when we bought our hens this year. When you bought a bag of starter feed they would give you 15 free rooster. This same promotion was still running when I picked up my meat birds and bought another bag of  starter feed,
The next week Cal Ranch was doing a chicken stock day and ever little kid that came in received a free chicken (Freedom Rangers). So We ended up with 20 Cornish Hens, 30 Roster, and 11 Freedom Rangers!!!! That's only 41 more than I really want haha. Total I think we lost under 10 of them to various reasons. We are housing them out on my brothers farm because we can't have that many chicken's in town :(.

Our poor dryer has quit working at least 3 times this summer :( The crazy thing is about ready to drive me NUTS!!! So we have borrowed a dryer until ours is fixed so I must go and get caught back up on some laundry.
