Longest Lasting Super Bright Rim Lights #Review

One thing my family has done together since moving in to town 5 years ago is take bike rides together. It gives us time to be together, have fun and also sneak in a little work out. One of our big rides we do happens at night on the 4th of July. My husband and I have always worried about lighting up the kids bikes enough we've use head lamps and glow sticks in the spokes of the tires which takes quite a bit of time to weave in and out of the spokes of the tires only to light through the night. So when I was contacted to do a review on these #bikelights I jumped at it. These #longestlastingsuperbrightrimlights were sent to me free of charge for an honest on review.

Speed Racer only lights up once put in motion, and thus will not require constant turning on and off. These lights are a great way to add some fun lights to your bicycle or other wheels that have valve stems. The lights come in a six pack with two each of green, blue, and multicolored LED valve bike lights.

The lights come with the button batteries pre-installed, but with a small piece of plastic between the battery and the contact to keep them from activating before you get them. 

If they didn't the batteries would be dead before you received them. 

The first thing that has to be done after you have opened the package up is to unscrew the light to remove the little piece of plastic.

You then will put it back together and add a stem adapter if needed and then these little lights can be place on almost any valve cover.                                            
 There’s no on/off switch on these lights; they’re motion activated, with up to 50,000 hours of lifetime.

  

The lights by themselves didn’t fit on my bike, but they fit perfectly once I added in the adapter. The lights are also rust resistant and waterproof, so you don’t have to remove them if you’re going to be riding in the rain or over rough terrain. They are alot like one of those fix it and forget it recipes. Once they are installed you can just leave them in place.

These fun little lights aren’t just for bikes. They will work with strollers, scooters, bike trailers, and even cars (I'm not sure if they are legal on the car tires though I would check your local laws before trying them out there.)

Over all these little light were a big hit with all the family especially the kids! I feel like the pictures on Amazon might not be very representative of the actually ability of the light. You would have to be pedaling very fast for the light to light up all the way around the tire. But they are still pretty awesome.

My kids really loved the multi colored light over the Blue and Green lights. Because they flashed for longer when not in motion.  
We did have a few lights that didn't light up well but when we messed with how tightly it was screwed together the worked fine.
